My favorite thing about the North Texas Irish Festival has always been the music. They always have a great blend of traditional and contemporary Irish and Celtic music.

My husband and I look forward to the festival every year! We are huge fans of so many things but to name a few, the dancers in their gorgeous costumes, the huge band that plays with drums and bagpipes (always amazing), petting the Irish wolfhounds, they yummy bakery that sells Irish Soda bread . . .the food, the beer, the people watching. We love it!

I’ve just moved to Dallas, but I’ve loved the Irish Fest in St Paul, Minnesota for years. There’s no one favorite, but here’s my top: the dancing, the sessions, lectures, the sheep herding, the wolfhounds, and who am I kidding the stout is always nice.

(looks like I’m a year late for the contest- well, all I said still holds true!)
