I just LOVE getting a chance to look in other peoples houses, don’t you? I really enjoy seeing how they decorate and lay out their own unique space, both inside and out! I’m visiting my dad & stepmom this week and I just had to show you their unique and beautiful country decorating style.
They live on a farm in Georgia, and the flowers and plants are thriving this summer. Would you like a glimpse?
Their property is covered in black eyed Susans, and sunflowers much much taller than I am! The bumblees and butterflies are in heaven…
My stepmother has a particularly great eye for antiques and interesting do-dads. She’s done a beautiful job decorating every nook and cranny and a sweet country farm style. And it all gets changed depending on the season! She has a lot of energy, right?! This is the summer look…
My dad has built wonderful benches and outdoor retreats hidden away throughout the yard. In fact there is an outdoor chapel made entirely of trees and brush bent into a small circular shape. Its so peaceful! I’ll try to share it with you in an upcoming blog.
Our Irish heritage is liberally showcased through out the house as well… so festive!
Would you like to see more? Be sure to follow us on Instagram, Twitter, & Facebook if you’d like to see a bit more than I’ll be blogging about here. I’ll be posting pics of our trip on those sites through the week. But I just had to share some of these pics with you readers – I know so many of you enjoy decorating ideas, and this farmhouse is full of inspiration!
More to come!
