Our family has been looking for some healthy alternatives to sweets and desserts – and Banana Ice Cream has quickly become a favorite in our house!

Making Banana Ice Cream is super simple, in fact if you’re going for super easy you can just use bananas! That said, we have made a few variations we like even more, including Mango Banana Ice Cream!

Here is how we make it…
Banana Ice Cream Recipe

Mango Banana Ice Cream Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe bananas, frozen
  • 1/2 – to 1 whole mango chopped, frozen (depending on how strong a mango taste you like)
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoon of Vanilla
  • Cinnamon to garnish

Directions:

Add all ingredients to a blender. Blend until creamy. Pour into a baggie, and lay flat in refrigerator. Freezing will take a couple hours, after that point leave in for 20 minutes intervals – checking until it gets to your desired level of hardness. I’ve found 2 hours perfect for a soft serve feel.

Sprinkle cinnamon on top. Dig in!

Making Banana Ice Cream

The great thing about Banana Ice Cream is all the variations you can do!

Add whatever frozen fruit you have around – blueberries are also especially good! What about peanut butter banana Ice cream? The sky is the limit! Plus, you know that your eating fresh ingredients that only taste like an indulgence!

Have you ever made Banana Ice Cream – what is your favorite mix in?
