Enchanted Fairies is an incredible family-run business that pairs a studio portrait experience with a magical trip into your child’s imagination! Located in Dallas, Texas this one of a kind experience is a memory kids will have forever. I took my daughter for a Fairy experience several years ago, and she talks about it all the time. And the photos from that experience are the first things guests ask about when they go in our playroom! They are so unique and beautiful!
But Enchanted Fairies also shows what a heart they have for children through their charity work, and an incredible partnership with Kidd’s Kids!
How Does Enchanted Fairies Partner with Kidd’s Kids?
Enchanted Fairies has pledged to donate 100% of their session fees, online contests, and calendar sales since 2014 – and hasn’t stopped yet! It is their goal to eventually donate $1 Million dollars to Kidd’s kids! And why? Kidd’s Kids is an amazing organization that sends children with life altering illnesses, and their families on vacation every year. This special trip to Disney World lets these highly stressed and emotionally depleted families have a break. A chance to focus on joy and family bonding – not hospitals or treatments!
Meet Two of the 2018 Kidd’s Kids:
Avery & Mason both benefited from Kidd’s Kids, in 2018, when they attended the 2018 Kidd’s Kid Walt Disney World Trip! I got a chance to meet them both in person this past week, while they were treated to their own session at Enchanted Fairies!
2018 Kidd’s Kid: Avery.
Avery at age 9, has been through more challenges in her young life than most adults. But a Brain Tumor, and Posterior Fosse Syndrome can’t slow this chick down! And it certainly doesn’t keep her from radiating light and laughter wherever she goes! Check out what a GREAT job Avery did posing for her Enchanted Fairies Portrait!
She chose a Holiday Fairy session!
My favorite moment watching Avery pose, was when the photographer Daniel said “You’re beautiful!” and without a beat Avery yelled ” I am a BEAUTIFUL woman!”
Darn right Avery! You sure are.
2018 Kidd’s Kid: Mason.
This spunky 7 year old came to his Warrior session with his little sister. And while Nephrotic Syndrome has certainly kept his parents up many nights in worry – he bounced into his portrait session full of questions and ideas! Posing with a sword? Yes – totally into it. Posing with his sister Mya giving him a kiss? Umm, no thanks! He’d be happy to skip that pose! Ha!
Mason kept us all laughing during his session! And I don’t think Mason had to do any pretending to be brave when he posed as a warrior. I think thats just who he is.
What do Avery and Mason have in common? Kidd’s kids gave their family a chance to bond and focus on fun with a family vacation in 2018. But there are a new group of kids that need that chance too. So how can you help donate to the 2019 Kidd’s Kids Trip? Easy!
