Succulent Wreaths are all the rage now, but you can save a lot of money if instead of buying one pre-made, you make a wreath!
Before I decided to make our wreath I looked up prices at sites like William Sonoma, Pottery Barn and Smith & Hawken – they are all selling nearly identical wreaths for $150.00 and more! No joke Batman! I made my wreath for under $10. I like to think that means I saved myself $140.00! 🙂
Making your own wreath is very simple, albeit a little messy at first! Here is how I made our wreath.
- $2 Grapevine Wreath
- Reindeer moss
- Fern & Protea to wrap in and through the wreath base
- 4 faux Succulent plant stems (at most craft stores these are not in the floral area, but instead in the moss/greenery aisle)
- Assorted moss pack
*Quick Tip – the moss and fern wraps easily onto the grapevine wreath base. But if you plan to put the wreath in a place that is going to be jostling it, like a door for instance – be sure to use your hot glue gun to affix the moss and fern as well as the larger succulent plants. Otherwise you will see moss starting to shed on your doorstoop 😉
Beautiful Shannon!!! U should be very proud!!! ok can u now make me one! 🙂
