When we last went to Disney World, our daughter fell in love with Princess Jasmine! She had a chance to meet her, and the cast member playing Jasmine took special time with her. It really made an impression! There was no one else our daughter wanted to be for Halloween this year, except Princess jasmine.
Here is a sneak peak at her costume!
Jasmine Hair: My daughter like a lot of Disney Princess fanatics watches every detail of her favorites, and had noticed Jasmine has a very specific hairstyle! I wasn’t sure how I was going to copy it, until I came across an awesome Jasmine Hair Tutorial from Cute Girls Hairstyles via the Disneystyle channel! They are one of my absolute favorite You Tube channels – so I wasn’t at all surprised they would have great instructions! I think it came out great! And if you have a little girl with hair you don’t know what to do with – check out their stuff!
Jasmine Costume: We ended up buying the costume from Disney.com when they did free shipping. We are planning a Disney trip in the future, so it will be used again soon. But if you are just looking for dress up, be sure to check out the Disney Store after Halloween, and then after Christmas for great savings when that years dresses go on sale.
*Halloween Tip* – Preserve your carved pumpkin! After you have carved and scraped it, coat the outside and most importantly the inside with bathroom cleaner spray with bleach! Be sure to get the lid and all the pumpkins surfaces. This inhibits mold growth for a much longer time than normal even in warmer climates, and also keeps squirrels and rodents from wanting to sample it! Easy, and works great!
Happy Halloween!
The costume is precious and the perfect color for her fair skin. Really brings out her gorgeous eyes. I would have never thought to use bathroom cleaner on a pumpkin to help preserve it. Great idea for those who decorate for Halloween! Wonderful tips.
She looks adorable. I did not know you could do that with scubbing bubbles and a pumpkin.
