We are so happy to be participating in Operation Christmas child this year. I’ve been looking for a way to bring the true meaning of the Christmas season into focus for my 4 year old this year. She’s getting older, and I want to be sure that we help her to strengthen the framework of compassion and kindness already so present in her personality! Operation Christmas Child is a great way to do that – because it helps another child. Something she can easily relate to. There are also GREAT suggestions on what to pack on the OCC website!
Perhaps your kids are grown? Perhaps you have a house full of your own children. In either case, wouldn’t you like to shop for a child that may only receive a present this year if you give them one? Packing a Shoebox for Operation Christmas Child is SO Simple! Here is a 2 minute video on how we packed ours! And if you are short on time, but long on love- you can even fill a box online without ever leaving your home!
