My husband and I have been looking for a good printer for a while. We wanted it to be able to scan, print documents, print photos…and print wirelessly! In this house, every object has to do at least that many things to justify any space it takes up!
In came the HP Deskjet 3052A. We didn’t need to worry about it taking up too much space – it’s perfectly compact. Yet it still has a really large surface for scanning.

I love that I can print from my iPhone or iPad wirelessly… from ANYWHERE. So for instance if I’m at my daughter’s gymnastic class and I take a great picture – I can send it via a personalized email address to our home printer. It will start printing as soon as I send it- and my hubby can see it! When my husband goes away on business, he can send us pictures from his trip, or even his itinerary – from wherever he is. And it will print out in our office. With just a press of a button!
If you are looking for a great compact printer that allows you to print without hooking up your phone or camera memory card to it – I recommend the HP Deskjet 3052A. It retails for $69 at Walmart, a great price for an all-in-one printer.

I had a bad experience with HP when my 8500A would only take HP branded ink. It woulod not allow refilled or aftermarket inks. I paid just as much for replacement ink as I did for the printer itself.
I really needed an Auto Document feeder for family history stuff.
I do miss printing coupons from my iPhone though.

I have an iPhone and I have a wireless printer. Is there an app I can download for printing to my printer? And how did you get a personalized email address for your printer?

I’m not sure from your message if you have a wireless printer from HP or not, but if it is HP you should have been given an option at set up to choose your own personalized email address. If you didnt set it up initially, you could still add it now:)
YES! HP does have an app. In fact I have it on my iphone and it makes everything even simpler if that’s possible. I can just push print on my phones app, and it has my email saved so that I don’t even have to enter it now. The app is free, and also does several other neat things like scanning from your phone!The email address has the same ending @hpeprint.com and you would choose the beginning:)

Oh my gosh… these printers are so awesome. I’m always a bit behind on the latest technology. In fact I’m still using a older HP printer. It’s great, but I need to actually take my laptop to it and plug it in to print.
Being able to print not only from anywhere in the house, but even print photos and documents and stuff (even from my iPad or phone) from anywhere in the world! It was about time I cut the wires and upgraded my printing experience.

@adaddyblog.com, Well since I have a habit of losing cables thta need to be hooked up to things…I am pretty happy that this is one machine in my house that doesn’t require me to babysit cords and plugs and stuff!
My printer is actually a wireless Canon but I will do some research on it. I got it from a friend who lost the software disc so I just found it online and downloaded it to set it up. Thanks for the info!
