Are you excited about the upcoming summer movie season?
Redbox is! And they are asking moms, “What’s your favorite movie line?” And even better …they are rewarding 2 lucky families with a chance to win $10,000 as part of the Redbox Summer of Fun & Games Sweepstakes!
One of my very favorite movie quotes …is from the movie “The Notebook.”
It’s said by the young man in the film Noah, when he is an older man looking back on his life. I think it’s such a simple , true and loving sentiment. And it always gives me a lump in my throat….
Noah: I am nothing special; just a common man with common thoughts, and I’ve led a common life. There are no monuments dedicated to me and my name will soon be forgotten. But in one respect I have succeeded as gloriously as anyone who’s ever lived: I’ve loved another with all my heart and soul; and to me – this has always been enough.
Ahhhhhh! isn’t that just the whole point of love? And life? To love another person so much you could burst? There is one part of the quote I lovingly disagree with though. In my opinion a life spent loving another person isn’t common- it’s blessed:)
What movie quotes make you laugh? Or make you cry? Care to share your favorite one below?
