My daughter will turn 3 at the end of the summer- and everyday a little bit more of her “babyness” disappears – and is replaced by an independent little girl!
Below are the pictures I took on my iphone during a 24 hour period. Each one shows how the pumpkin is becoming more independent!
Breakfast- the pumpkin still has a high chair, but she has been opting to sit at the kitchen table more and more lately, like the “adults!”
Morning- Pumpkin makes up her own games now. She no longer needs me to suggest fun things to do. She asked while outside if she could have a spray bottle- to “wash the car, like a car wash!”
Afternoon- When we go to a playground, she no longer needs mommy and daddy to help her make friends. She goes up to children she doesn’t know and plays without our help!
Afternoon- She no longer needs me to stand at the bottom of slides before she will give them a try. She is fearless!
Evening – Pumpkin is willing to try new things! Here she is with daddy- trying Chinese food:)
