So… part of what has been most fun about being part of Chevy’s Mom’s Time out- has been that when we got our Chevy Malibu we had no say in what color or style we got. We showed up to pick it up, and the three North Texas moms that were chosen all got very different cars – some got sporty models some got classics!
When you buy a car yourself you have a tendency to pick a color and interior that reflects who you already are. But when I received the Chevy Malibu I’m test driving for a month, it was different than what I might have gravitated towards on my own. It’s less who I am, and more who I imagine myself to be! I LOVE IT!
The Malibu I received is dark, sparkly, and black. And even has dark tinted windows. It kind of makes me feel like I’m either a Russian spy or I’m in a modern version of car that the Rat pack (Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr.) might have cruised the Vegas strip in -incognito of course! It’s a car that says- I’m mysterious and I like it that way!
So when I found out that Chevy Mom Mission #2 Was to go out to Dinner – I just knew my husband and I had to take advantage of my Malibu’s classic feel by putting on the XM Radio- 60’s Station. It was Sinatra all the way to dinner baby!!
