FAVE THING #1- MY HUSBAND!

Some of you may know him as this picture of feet on Twitter or on Adaddyblog! And while Michael “the person” is always one of my favorite things – I also love his blog and love having a husband who understands and shares my love of blogging and social media! It gives me a little window into his head and heart. And a willing partner to discuss SEO or Twitter. His blog is also a really fun read- so check him out! But remember…he’s taken ladies;)

 

FAVE THING #2- Klout Perks

I got a tweet not long ago saying that my Klout score ( a score of how active you are on Twitter) had made me eligible for a Flip Camera. I was dubious. Then I got a tweet saying they wanted to send me a DVD set of a new series. I gave them my address after looking up KloutPerks- but I was still kind of leery that it could be real. Well yesterday via overnight mail I got an adorable “arm chair” detective kit with the first season of the show “Rizzoli & Isles”- and some other little show branded fun things. Included was a funny little pair of handcuff earrings…lol. I’m not sure I’ll ever find an appropriate time to wear those! But they made me laugh. Anyway- it made me a believer in Klout Perks! they are real! They don’t ask you to post about anything you receive, or to tweet about it nothing. Its just yours to explore- and they hope to expose you to brands you may like. I was impressed by the quality of things they are awarding- and also by the no pressure way they give them out. A breath of fresh air in the blogging world:)

 

FAVE THING #3- Kidorable Umbrellas

This is my daughter wearing boots and an umbrella from Kidorable. What I love about this company is the neat animals and themes they have. The boots have little ladybug faces on them- the umbrella little “stick uppy” eyes- engaging stuff for kids! Fun stuff. I’m an adult and I love it all…it just makes me smile! Don’t tell our toddler but she is getting some of the Fairy themed stuff for her birthday this year:)
