    Really there are many things, but shredded cheese seems to be the main one, it’s really good with crumbled corn bread, oh I love eating it scooped in a big scoop chip with cottage cheese, so good!

    A pretty wide array of toppings, and I have one to add that’s not been mentioned. Chili, like so many foods, has regional and cultural variations, and here in Hawaii we put mayonnaise on ours. I suppose no crazier than sour cream, but the addition gets raised eyebrows from newcomers to the islands.

    It depends on how much time I have. I love to add sauteed onions and jalapeno peppers. If not we always add some cumin and jalapeno seeds. Topped with cheese of course.

    I love to dress mine with sour cream and shredded cheese. However, when I’m sometimes out of sour cream and don’t feel like running to the store to get some, I’ll use a nice dollop of mayo Instead and It works just as well. Gives It a nice little kick as well.

    We actually like to slice up jalepeno peppers and top our chili with those. I call it my Killer Chilli. You have to watch, though, if you add too many it’s not even edible. lol

    We love beans, hamburger, spices, onions, and chipotle tomatoes in our chili! When it’s ready, we top ours with onions, corn chips, sour cream, hot sauce, and shredded cheddar! You can’t eat just one bowl!

The Prairie Lights Holiday Light Experience is the perfect way to celebrate the season! This stunning drive-through park features millions of lights arranged in hundreds of festive scenes along the shores of Joe Pool Lake at Lynn Creek Park in Grand Prairie. Drive straight through, or stop halfway at the Holiday Village to stroll through the gorgeous Walk-Thru Forest, enjoy holiday shopping, sip or snack on tasty concessions, and grab a photo with Santa.

Prairie Lights kicks off Thanksgiving and runs through New Year’s Eve every night at 6 pm. (You can enter the line until 10 pm or until the park reaches capacity, whichever comes first).

It shouldn’t have taken this long, but I just we It shouldn’t have taken this long, but I just went bowling for the first time in my life! 🎳

I avoided it at first because it didn’t seem that fun. Then- because I didn’t know how to do it. But, this year I’m challenging myself to try new things. Even if I look like an idiot! Who cares?! 😃

Bottom line, loved bowling. I suck. But it’s fun! Who knew? Well, lots of people. But now me too! Also- it’s helpful to have friends that make you try new things and expand your horizons. Super grateful for mine! ❤️
