Skin Care in my 30’s – what works for me!

I’ve been on a hunt for skincare I could LOVE for several years. I’m in my 30’s, and it’s really just recently that skin care has become a priority for me. I’ve tried quite a few products in the past, but I’ve never written about them. Why? Well, honestly – because I just wasn’t all that impressed. However, for the past several weeks I’ve been using Revision Skincare, and I’m ready to say it. I’m in love.

First of all, I want to be upfront with you readers. I was invited to a lunch with several other bloggers in order to learn about Revision Skincare. I got a chance to hear from the scientist behind the brand. I got to ask questions. And I left with some of their skincare products. I had no idea though that when I took the products home I’d be so impressed. And I truly am impressed.

So rest assured. I am writing about these products because I have a serious crush on them, not because someone told me to.

Okay, so here is my skin the first week I tried Revision skincare. As you can see, I still experience occasional breakouts, red skin, and freckling. I also have very fair skin, and I find that a lot of skincare irritates it. Not so with Revision. The “before” photo is me, with not a stitch of make up on. It’s not my best photo obviously, but I want to share it with you, so you can truly see why I love this line. It’s because it really does make my skin look better! My “After” photo is using three of the Revision Skincare products..

1. Papaya Enzyme Cleanser – It feels gentle, and smells great. My skin feels truly clean after.

2. Hydrating Serum – My skin feels soft and moisturized after this. At night, I stop at this step.

3. Intellishade Original (My Fave!) – Sunscreen with a tint. If I’m just having a normal day, I feel good wearing this alone, with no further makeup as seen in my “after” photo. If I’m feeling fancy, I use this as a base and add my normal mineral based foundation on top.

So there you have it! These products are working for me, and I wanted to share. I’m already eyeing the rest of the Revision Skincare line wanting to try other things!

If your skin is in a similar stage of life to mine – I highly recommend you check them out.

Many Thanks to Revision Skincare for allowing me to try their products. All opinions are my own.
