In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, I thought I would share some pictures from the 2010 North Texas Irish Festival!
The festival is held in March in Dallas Texas, at Fair Park. This year we had an absolutely stunning sunny day for it! If you enjoy Irish music and culture, or really Celtic culture in general – this Festival is a great time! I hope you’ll enjoy some pictures of what you can find at the Irish Festival! And maybe I’ll see you there next year!
(This is my little pumpkin and my husband having some fun with piggy back rides!)
(Bagpipers, and Scottish music)
(A beautiful location, with random people in kilts!)
(People bring the most stunning Irish Wolf hounds! When they stand up, they look like small horses!)
(There are lot’s of Irish dance schools that preform)
(Daddy, the pumpkin, and mommy!)
(Yummy food, including Irish Stew in a bread bowl)
(Unique Celtic shopping- like these Irish Bodhran!)
(A sleepy baby- that is going to nap on the way home!)

That looks like so much fun. I am Irish by heritage, but have not had the chance to really get involved in it. Thanks for the pictures!

Hi there!
We are already followers of your blog and just wanted to stop by to check things out and say hello. Have a great evening. <3
They’ve been doing this festival since the mid 80’s and it’s one of the largest in the country. I’ve been attending since the mid 90’s. Sometimes they have very Irish appropriate weather (rainy and cold), but this year was absolutely perfect. Whilst the reflecting pond and fountains were pretty, the caused the event to be divided into three sections and more spread out than I’d have preferred. It was a lovely day, nonetheless. Love the photos. Belated Saint Patrick’s Day wishes to you and yours.
