It’s become apparent to me in the last few years, that although the words organize and declutter are used interchangeably – they are in fact very different. And its not much good to organize a space unless and until – you declutter it! In the next 30 days I’m decluttering my home place by place, step by step. Below is the free 30 Day De-cluttering printable schedule I’m using.
Perhaps you would like to start the new year by clearing out some extra space in your life too?
I declare this the year of Less = More!

Let’s all do this!
It’s a New Year… and I’m ready to make more room in my life! I’m giving myself 30 days to get rid of what I don’t need, use or want! Time to Declutter.
My challenge: 30 Days of DE-CLUTTERING!
I need more space! So I’ll be using a schedule to keep me in line, and decluttering non-stop for 30 days straight!
*In fact, if you’d like to follow along you can…

The main thing I’m keeping in mind is that there is a big difference between decluttering – and organizing. My 30 Day Challenge is going to focus ONLY on getting rid of stuff – not making it beautiful or organizing it in a pretty way! That’s what always side tracks me. This time I’m keeping it simple, and serious!
I am going to have three bins: DONATE, TRASH & SELL
And my goal is to have a LOT more space in my life in 30 days! And the side benefit will hopefully be to have made some money selling what I don’t need, gotten rid of what no one needs, and to have donated to others who were in need!

Yep, they are definitely 2 different things! I am on a mission to declutter this year as well. My family on the other hand…doesn’t necessarily agree.
Good luck!
a “mission” is a lot like a “goal”!
There is power in numbers!
Have a great New Year!

Oooo!!! Be still my heart! I LOVE a good decluttering schedule!!
After years of decluttering by myself, my two oldest kids did it independently the day after Christmas. I was so proud, I thought I was going to cry!
Thanks for joining my Linky Party! Can’t wait to see all of the projects we tackle this month/year.
Have a wonderful New Year!

Our family is all doing this with you! Quick question- are you doing weekends, or taking them off?
@Michele @ Family, Faith and Fridays, You are?!? AWESOME!!! Yes, I’m doing weekends too- but I wont likely post about them until the week. But you could def take weekends off – that might help you not get overwhelmed!FYI- I will be putting links to all the days I do here: https://everydaybest.com/decluttering-challenge/
PS. Would love to see what you are doing! If you have pics send them! And…go you!
GREAT information! I have done just a couple of these but with the Winter WEATHER LASTING FOREVER~I will really have my work cut out for me!
I really like this idea!!! Thanks for the printable. I’m pinning this. I *need* to declutter my home. We just moved here a little over a year ago, but with 6 of us, things pile up FAST. I also think my kids could use some direction with the whole decluttering process, too.
Just found this…. I’m going to start on the first since it’s only a couple days away. I really need to de clutter my home!!
Thanks for the printable version!!!
We just moved a few months ago and have a much bigger house than we used to, so you’d think it wouldn’t be cluttered. We have empty closets and half empty rooms but I still have clutter. I’m going to try some of these ideas. I think bins will be my saving grace.
P.S. Thanks for linking up at my #BujoMojo Party!
