Our family loves Arlington, Texas. It may be a little less well known than it’s neighbors, Dallas and Fort Worth – but it has so much to offer. Not only does it make a great jumping off point for those two better known locations – but it also warrants a visit of it’s own. Never is that more true than during the holiday season, when Arlington Texas has so many places to get into the holiday mood!
Here are 5 of the Best places to visit during the holidays in Arlington, Texas:
- Texas Christkindl Market –
November 25th – December 23rd
With generous operating hours everyday during it’s open season – the Christkindl market brings the feeling of a European Christmas Market to Texas! Traditional German foods and crafts are on display, as well as market stalls selling many handmade ornaments and gifts. This market doesn’t forget the young, or young at heart either! A petting zoo, arctic tubing run, and various kid fun stalls take up a huge part of this event! When you go, you simply MUST taste some of the traditional hot mulled wine while you shop – you won’t regret it!

Many thanks to the Arlington CVB for hosting me, and allowing me to share all that Arlington, Texas has to offer with my readers. All opinions are as always, my own.
Thanks for posting! We’re outside of Houston and love finding places within our surrounding areas to visit. We’ve gone to Dallas several times but not Arlington.
I would love to see a giant store of Christmas decorations. That would be an awesome store!
Oooh, I wish I lived closer to come try that brewery! We have a lights display nearby…and you’re right about going early! It’s more “family togetherness” than you can imagine when it’s closer to Christmas.
