Displaying Children’s Artwork

This post may contain affiliate links. Please see my full disclosure statement for details.

How do you display your children’s art? Does it get filed away, or do you hang it up? Do you have a better way of enjoying it, other than putting it up on your refrigerator door? Do tell!

I’ve been trying to figure out a clutter free way to keep, and enjoy some of the sweet art projects my daughter makes. But since she LOVES to draw and paint we get so many new creations each day- I am running out of room ya’ll! So I’ve been collecting links to different Childrens Art display options as I think of them.

I recently thought maybe I should share the ideas (and links) I’ve been collecting in case anyone else is struggling with this! So enjoy:)

Dynamic Art Boxes

Goose Goose Couture

Wall Mounted Wire There is also an IKEA version

What about putting a very special Art piece by your child, on a bag? I definitely want to do that!

Magnetic Paint

Custom book of your Child’s Art

What about scanning a special piece of Art and putting it on a Pillow?

Do you have another idea to share? I’d love to know what other people do!

There is a frame similar to the first one you posted, I think it’s called a Davinci frame. It hold 30 pieces of artwork. I LOVE the board with the metal strip on it though, and I bet my DH could make it so easily! Great ideas!

I love the wall mounted wire. I wish we had a place for it in our house.

Those are some great ideas. I books are cool (shutterfly.com does a good job on those, right?) but they would require quite a bit of work. Maybe the picture frames with storage are the least cluttery looking?

LOL… I don’t know why I typed “I books” above, I meant of course “The photo books”. Almost made it sound like an Apple product iBooks. 😉

Digital Pictures Frames! Take pictures of the art and then upload it to a memory card or directly to the frame and VOILA! One frame…..LOTS of art!!

The best part is all the art gets displayed, makes a great conversation piece and the kids LOVE it,

Just what I needed! I am anti-crafty. Most of my girls artwork has ended up in the trash shortly after it’s brought home. I’m quite partial to the wall mounted wire also. May give it a try on a smaller scale.

I like the cork board. I have one in my study where I have a collage of photos and artwork done by my children and grandchildren. LOVE it!

all very good ideas. it’s almost impossible to keep all of the drawings. sugg. using a camera, copy and do a special book just for this purpose. along with this a family decision to choose to keep 1 weekly picture with all of you including little one help to make that decision. once done, get a box marked ART Works.

Really love the idea of making a book of their art. THAT is tremendous. All of these are really great ideas. 🙂

I love those dynamic art boxes, but they are a little costly. (I’ll probably still get them though after I troll the stores and Internet to see if I can find something similar! LOL)

Right now I have a file box for the children’s artwork and things that I want to save. I still have things from my oldest daughter who is 19 now. I’d like to get some up on the wall and the idea of the dynamic boxes is ideal for me. It doesn’t take much time and it’s easy to do.

I avoided it at first because it didn’t seem that fun. Then- because I didn’t know how to do it. But, this year I’m challenging myself to try new things. Even if I look like an idiot! Who cares?! 😃

Bottom line, loved bowling. I suck. But it’s fun! Who knew? Well, lots of people. But now me too! Also- it’s helpful to have friends that make you try new things and expand your horizons. Super grateful for mine! ❤️
