For the last few years I have had the pleasure of enjoying the yearly Holiday Gift market tradition in Fort Worth Texas – Christmas in Cowtown!
I know what you’re thinking. Christmas already? But it’s not even Halloween yet! We still have Thanksgiving to go! Yes, yes that’s true. But I promise you will not mind the holiday music and decorations – even in October!
This particular holiday gift market is put on by the Junior League of Ft. Worth, and not only is the money collected for an entry fee donated to worthy charities…but the gifts and crafts are some of the best I’ve seen! They have nearly 150 different vendors and they are all chosen for their unique offerings, and for variety to the shopper. Held at the Will Rogers Memorial Center – everything is decorated in Western Holiday style.
-If you choose to wear your own cowboy boots to shop, you won’t be alone! I think half the ladies I saw shopping were rocking their boots:)
-Although the Texas pride is out in force, you won’t just find gifts with Western styles you can choose between toy booths, jewelry, mens gifts, specialty foods, clothes boutiques and much more. One of my favorite finds this morning was a matching mother/daughter Pajama set perfect for Christmas morning! I also found some fun Elf on the shelf accessories!
-If you get hungry there is a cute little cafe to grab a bite in, and if you feel like a holiday cocktail there is a booth in the middle ready to make your favorite tipple.
– Holiday Market aisles are labeled as streets, with street lamps and street signs. So using he complimentary map of the market is easy.

What a fantastic Holiday market!! My mom and I use to go to the one close to our hometown…years and years ago. We actually had a booth one year at one. So much fun…shopping and selling ^_^

Ohhh!!! Fun! I really want an elf on the shelf. That Christmas boot tree is awesome. 🙂 I have to work. Maybe they will do it again before Christmas?
